a journal of each tour for comments and observations by our
players and coaches. Here are some extracts from their entries,
written on the homeward bound flight:
"The ten days I was in Europe was the greatest experience in my life. I built everlasting friendships with the kids on our team and the
families that took me in, fed me, and gave me a place to sleep. I loved learning about the history and culture of the different cities
I visited. Finally, the best part was seeing how basketball united people and made us realize how similar we are and how we shared a love
for the game."
